Answers to the questions we hear most.

The app read my receipt wrong. How do I fix it?

Tap the entry in your Book and choose Edit — every field is yours to change. FrogBooks also remembers your corrections: file a vendor under a different category once, and the next receipt from that vendor is filed your way automatically.

How do I handle a return or refund?

Snap the refund receipt like any other — FrogBooks recognizes it as a return, offers to match it to the original purchase, and nets it against the right category. You can also open the original purchase and choose “Return / refund” from its menu.

Can I keep more than one set of books?

Yes — books are separate ledgers with their own entries and totals. Keep one per business, one for personal spending, or one for a single event. Add or switch books from the switcher at the top of the screen.

How do I get my year-end numbers to my accountant?

On the Account tab, pick the year, then export: a profit & loss PDF, a spreadsheet, a tax-software import file, or a receipt-book PDF with every receipt photo included. Your accountant gets clean numbers with categories mapped to the right tax lines.

Can I bring in receipts I got by email?

Yes — choose “Import a PDF” when adding a receipt, and FrogBooks reads the PDF just like a photo.

Why doesn't FrogBooks connect to my bank?

On purpose. Bank feeds mean sharing bank credentials, wrestling with broken connections, and reconciling things you never bought. FrogBooks builds your books from your receipts — private, simple, and working from the first minute. If you like, you can set a starting cash balance and update it whenever; the app shows the gap as unlogged activity, and never nags about it.

What does FrogBooks run on?

FrogBooks runs on iPhone and iPad from the App Store, and on Android phones and tablets from Google Play. Your books back up to the cloud, so a new phone picks up right where the old one left off.
